Oasis Of The Seas Pictures

Pricing for the Ocean of the Seas is dramatically reduced in 2011.  A Wall street analyst said that as it competes with its sister ship the brand new Allure of the Seas , prices are  trimmed down.  Some highlights of the Oasis of the Seas is The Central is located at Deck  8 of the ship.  It has a dimension of 62 feet wide and 328 feet  long.  Tropical foliage adorn it   Surprises in the park itself include quiet reading corners,  a chess garden complete with  large chess pieces , the Pergola garden  and another interpretative attraction  featuring vegetation from many places.  Irrigation and drainage systems are incorporated along with micro-climate control.  A horticulturist gives lectures to  guests  of the same interest.  Crystal canopies  with 2 glass domes that provide sunlight into the ship’s inner  places is the focal point of the park.

There is this ship’s aqua theater which has both a daytime water show called “the Splish Splash” and a night time version called “the Oasis of Dreams”. 6 divers, 4 synchronized swimmers, 2 specialty divers, and 6 acrobats or a total of 18 performers will show their wares in the theater with its 17 foot , 9 inch deep pool. Pool lifts , lighting and underwater camera enhance the show.  The divers use 3 different locations – the 3 meter springboards and two spots on 2 huge towers. Guests watch the show live or on its 2 huge wide  video screens.   Those in the aft-boardwalk can watch the show in balcony cabins and in suites with great seats.  Furthermore,  the aqua theater has dancing fountains with four types of nozzles  including name “gargoyle” that shoots water  high enough tom hit the crown and anchor of the ship.

The ship’s boardwalk is an outdoor area aft on deck 6. It looks like a seaside pier.  It has activities  and dining venues for passengers of all ages especially family groups.  Upon entering the boardwalk,  one will be struck by the sight of a large carousel  which is hand crafted from poplar wood. The carousel  itself has 18 animals of all kinds attached to the traditional carousel poles.  Carousel music and outdoor sea air will remind the guests of the traditional beach boardwalk.  Strolling  down the boardwalk will pass 6 shops, 5 restaurants and bars including the Johnny  Rockets and the Seafood Shack, before reaching the Aqua theater.  Such are Oasis of the Seas pictures.
